- Roar - The smash single is the song that starts the album. A good pop song with similarities with Sara Bareilles Brave. A good start. 7.3/10
- Legendary Lovers - The best song on the album. The Indian influence is evident and that's why it makes the music so catchy. Katy's voice is also on a good point with almost no use of auto tune. 9.2/10
- Birthday - A catchy song that will do well on the radio but it is nothing new or original. It's a mix between Domino and her last album. 6.5/10
- Walking On Air - The most danceable song on the album. It reminds me of Cher and has that catchy reathm that will put even the most shy person on the room dancing. 8.1/10
- Unconditionally - The 2nd single of the album is a ballad with a great message. The lyrics are Katy's stronger point because she's a good songwriter. The melody is also enjoyable. A future hit. 8.0/10
- Dark Horse ft. Juicy J - Inspired by the urban culture. It is a song that I would see Rihanna singing but not Katy. It shows that Katy when she wants it she can be original. 8.4/10
- This Is How We Do - Katy brings a bubblegum pop type of song that people will with no doubt play it for months. With addictive beat and easy lyrics, the song has every ingredient to be a hit. 8.8/10
- International Song - Another bubblegum pop type a song. 6.6/10
- Ghost - A catchy ballad that will make everyone sing the chorus after few spins. 7.0/10
- Love Me - Bubblegum all over again. 6.0/10
- This Moment - A catchy song with an addictive melody and great lyrics. A future single. 7.5/10
- Double Rainbow - Co-written with Sia this song has everything to be a hit. A ballad with a catchy melody, the Sia effect and a good performance from Katy. One of the best moments on the album. 8.7/10
- By The Grace Of God - The gospel influenced song. It talks about her failed relationship with Russel Brand and her new romance with John Mayer. A very personal song with a great deliver from Perry. 8.6/10

OVERALL RATING: It is a good album with catchy songs but nothing new or original. She seemed to want to recycle her Teenage Dream era. Maybe she was afraid to take the next step. In my opinion, she should had been more personal and do a more personal album even if it was not that successful like Rihanna's with Rated R and Beyoncé's 4. 7/10
